AFTERCARE
W/o SANIDERM/second skin
Keep bandaged for 30 mins - 1 hour.
Upon removal of the bandage, wash with warm water and unscented antibacterial soap such as Dial Gold.
Pat dry with a clean towel.
Allow tattoo to dry and air out for approximately 1 hour.
For the first 4 days, wash and apply a light layer of Aquaphor 1-3 times per day. On the 5th day you can then use an unscented hypoallergenic lotion such as Lubriderm at your discretion to help with peeling and itching.
Refrain from submerging in water until fully peeled. Prolonged sun exposure without spf will damage tattoos, always use an spf lotion while in direct sun forever.
WITH SANIDERM/second skin
Leave Saniderm applied to tattoo for a minimum of 3 days and a maximum of 7 days.
Sometimes, due to plasma seepage, sandierm/second skin may fall off prematurely. In this instance, you can purchase a similar produce from a pharmacy and re-bandage the tattoo or simply follow the “w/o saniderm/second skin” aftercare regimen.
Upon removal, wash with dial soap and proceed to moisturize with hypoallergenic lotion such as Lubriderm at your discretion to help with any peeling or itching.
